Butter can be spooned onto parchment paper and rolled into a log. Use the straight edge of a toaster oven baking tray or muffin tin to form a tight log. Chill for two hours and slice into discs. Compound butter also freezes beautifully. To freeze, place parchment log in a freezer bag and label with the contents and date.
