Instructions
Press the pointed stem end of 10 cloves into each whole clementine skin.
In a stockpot, combine wine, apple cider, honey, clementines, 4 cinnamon sticks and star anise. Over medium heat, bring to a simmer and reduce to medium-low for 20 minutes, simmering gently. Stir once while simmering.
Ladle into mugs. Garnish each cup of mulled wine with a cinnamon stick, orange zest and star anise if desired.
